The “Old Brick School House”

On January 19th, 1972, we entered into an agreement with the school board of Kensington to assume responsibility for the continuing care of the brick school house. This school house is located on the corner of Moulton Ridge Road and Amesbury Road (Route 150).

The project “contemplates such restoration and maintenance of the school premises as would reflect the schools condition from its earlier days through the whole period of its operation.” This historic school is used for programs for school children and youth groups within the community. Although the lack of heat and running water limits its use, we hope to some day add these necessities so we can use the building for monthly evening meetings.
