The Historical Society of Kensington

The Historical Society of Kensington was founded in 1970 by an interested group of nearly 200 residents concerned with preserving the historical buildings and artifacts within the community.

Mission statement

The Society was established to:

• preserve the historical records of the town

• preserve and maintain its antiquities

• attract and encourage all citizens, particularly the younger generation, in perpetuating the traditions of the town.
